Question for the masses:
Would you feel differently about watching these MAC games (or others of this ilk) if they were turned these schools teams into “minor league” teams for the P5 schools?
For example Toledo/Buffalo would be funded by say.. Michigan State and Syracuse? Players being developed for a possible chance to play for those schools while also competing for their own championship(s) at that level?
Maybe have the bigger programs logo on a corner of the helmet ect. ?
One coach hypothesized that something similar would be the future of FCS level programs so.. who knows really?

The part I want to see is the G5 totally break off and have their own bowls, playoff, and national title.

Never thought about it, but these kids usually get 4 or 5 years in school. I don't think a "minors" would really be a benefit as even the biggest athletic department budgets are stretched out, so putting a larger outlay on it probably wouldn't be seen as a positive.

You & me both brother, that would be a heckuva lot of fun added to the CFB season or, as I’ve argued, play their season in the Spring beginning weekend after final 4 weekend and finishing July 4th weekend.
I for one would love that as we just don’t have enough time to really see/watch those teams when They compete in the fall with the other schools and the NFL for attention.
