I don't cheer for em and I want them to get their ass kicked but at the same time I'm smart enough to know if Miss State gets beat by Maine that doesn't help me either.

I root for Auburn first, whoever is playing Alabama second and whoever helps Auburn the most third.

Teams in your league losing to Sunbelt teams drops interest in you league games, sets up trap games and at times even discount what you do on the field. It's not like Big 12 league game ratings are through the roof and eventually that is going to hit your pockets. I like my pockets full as a mofo.

It is hard to laugh too much at Kansas State or Iowa State as they have never been strong programs that people hate. I really want to cheer them on for even playing these games.

Now if it was Oklahoma or Texas, yeah I would probably be laughing right now.

I don't think this hurts the Big12 playoff hopes and SEC fans have no reason to talk trash as we have no OOC opponents on our schedule to even test our league.

Technically true, but games have a life of their own, and the Transitive Property doesn't really work very well on things like this.. Alabama would have probably beaten ND in the Cotton handily with a month to prepare too before losing to Clemson in the NCG in a short turnaround.

Sheesh, Alabama got ahead of OU 28-0 in the Orange behind an all-time game by Tua and STILL had to chase Kyler Murray's ass around all night to hold on and win by 11 - while Clemson beat a vanilla Notre Dame Offense, the kind that Alabama Defenses eat for lunch too.

it's 35-0 in austin, 2nd qtr.

Also it's not that the Big12 doesn't like ratings, This is what makes it unique.. every school owns it's third tier rights..it's the opening week.. from here on out both UT and ou will be on regular channels. Texas gets a 15 mil payday for the LHN game and ou gets it's 9 mil payday

Chanticleers up 7-0 @ Kansas!

The only think worse than losing to Louisiana at home at 11:00 am without fans is losing at home to Coastal Carolina at 8 pm without fans. Just not a good look for the Big Xii today, especially with OU and Texas in hiding.

Cannot wait for the Iowa State @ Kansas Game on Halloween!
