Oh and don’t pretend it’s not driving you crazy because it is. My favorite was look on Saban’s face last night as the other talking heads discussed how dominant UGA was and the new face of CFB.

There is one team with a chance to match Bama stretch of dominance. That team is Georgia, as they are in a state that produces an unbelievable amount of talent and they are the ONLY MAJOR PROGRAM in the state.

Florida has Florida State and Miami.

Texas has Texas A&M, TCU, Baylor, Texas Tech, Houston, SMU (only mentioned these last two as they have signed by top talent from the state)

USC has UCLA, USC, Stanford, Cal

Georgia has...............Georgia Tech. The biggest threat to Georgia in their own state are schools bordering them. They can hand pick who they want from the state and be selective as they have so many to pick from.

That is why they are the only team with a shot to have the extended dominance Bama has had. They have a coach who isn't going anywhere. They have, by far, the biggest recruiting advantage in their backyard.

It is why they have won back to back titles and why you see people calling them the new face of CFB, as they see the exact same thing I do. Unless they completely whiff on the QB badly for multiple years, where they don't have a quality option, which I do not see happening in today's CFB with the portal -- they will be absolutely stacked year in and year out.
