Figured I would start a thread. Been finding so really good comics and there shows on YouTube lately. Figured I would share for anyone interested.

New Shane Gillis special dropping on Netflix tomorrow. Annoying it didn't at least release today.

I saw him live along with Tim Dillon and a couple of other comedians back in spring. Gillis was great.
 
Anyone interested in stand up really should watch Kill Tony. It is basically an open mic / talk show / roast that has been running for over 10 years now. I have been binging all the past episodes over the last 3 months or so, and still have about 2 years worth of episodes to get through.

saw one or two, came away with the same take as Bill Burr.
 
Sadly most of Louis CK's stuff is gone.

just because he liked to spank it in front of his staff doesn't mean his stand up wasn't funny.

He is a great stand up. One of the top guys for a while. He's trying to make a come back.

It would be awesome if he could, but so few have come back from being cancelled for way less than he did. This ones's going to stick with him like the pages of your favorite playboy mag...

Not sure how long he’d have to wait to do that, legally. But it’s gonna be awesome.

He really is one of the best I’ve ever seen.

he's released a few specials on his own platform after the fact (he was previously already releasing some of his projects to include standups on there). there was a thread on how movies are shit nowadays. the quality of specials has gone down hill as well. I don't know if it's a fact of there's so many mediums for these comedians to say bits or even premises you've heard ad nauseum that it's tough to find something fresh anymore. podcasts would be one of the main things, where if you hear a person enough, when they do a bit in a special, you've already heard a million versions of it. some people try to come out with new shit too quickly where there's never a fully formed set. i think some of this recently was because they couldn't really be in the clubs for a bit and the result was some weak shit. or the market is so saturated, it's the same topic over and over and over again.
