I will miss the old, old BIG XII. I remember putting the Christmas tree up the same time Chris Brown had the rushing yards in the 62-36 beatdown of Nebraska. The year that Kansas state beat Oklahoma in the BIG XII champs game and Oklahoma made the BCS champs game. The Crabtree grab against Texas. The Vince Young comeback against Oklahoma state. All the old BIG XII champs games.

Honestly? Do you see yourselves doing anything in the SEC? Or just accepting that it’s like a 6 horse race in CFB, everyone else is just having fun and you guys will win like 8 -10 games a season and that’s that.
Or do you honestly believe, you can go into the SEC and somehow your recruiting will just get magically better and you will win a CFB playoff?

Everything improves. Particularly economics.

Oklahoma primarily recruits Texas anyway so that won't change. It may open some recruiting doors in SEC states though.

The road to the CCG and CFP (with 12 teams) will be much more difficult though.

Sad fact is that if Oklahoma had joined the SEC in the 1930s, they would have more in common with Mississippi State than Alabama. It just means more and the Sooners are going to find that out the hard way
