Was the rage for a bit, here is an aerial shot of the house. Unless you have a sprawling farm, eh

But some of them did do a real cool job with it

Plenty of use. People initially look online mostly now. Aerial shots provide good perspective of spacing and property. This is especially useful if you're looking in the country. It can also help give a little info to how the roof looks.
 
No interest in country, so I guess that's why I never understood it.

If anything, it made properties I saw more disappointing.

One place with no backyard neighbors made the lot look optically look huge with the drone shot. At the showing, it was completely average.

So put in the new storm door yesterday. 3rd or 4th time I've done this. What a pain in the ass, I'm getting to the point where I'm going to hire out projects I'm perfectly capable of doing myself. Nothing like a splash of hand sanitizer to discover a cut on your hand that you were unaware of.

The first drone I saw in person was at a field party. I had just gotten stoned and this guy flew one over us at night with all the lights. I told him I would give him a thousand dollars for it. Then my brother in law and nephew got really into it. I found that after a few minutes, and when you are not stoned, the novelty wears off quickly.

Yes, to take pictures from high up.

If your job doesn't involve taking pictures from high up, it's a remote controlled car that goes in the air.
