Him, Glen Campbell and Jerry Reed are probably the 3 best Country guitar players. There’s a bunch of vastly underrated guitar players from Nashville and Austin, but I’ll put those 3 against anyone

IMHO Vince Gill should get some love too.

He's a good one. Jerry Reed's self taught, unique style of finger picking and his weird tunings does it for me. I modeled my finger picking style after him.

When I was on the USS Ranger during ODS, the skipper ordered the William Tell Overture to be played over the 1MC (ship’s loudspeakers) every time a bombing run was launched from the carrier.

All of our sorties launched at night which was fine by me since I worked 7pm to 7am. With 3 or 4 missions per night, the day check guys weren’t getting much sleep.
