I was just remembering tornado drills, watches, and warnings growing up, and it was "grab the transistor radio and head for the root cellar."
I even remember we tuned the transistor to KIH 43.

EDIT: Now that i really think about it, the full "Call sign," if that's the correct term, was "NOAA weather radio station KIH 43." I remember wondering who noah was and why he had a weather station named after him.
