Spoiler Alert

Nova is really good again.

Hope Carolina wins, sick of playing Purdue...

what was UNC's kenpom ranking at the start of the year? They're already down to #52

there was a poster named "SeanMayTriedToEatMe" on Duke's Scout.com message board back in the day, lmao

that is how i'll always remember Sean May

UNC took its first lead of the game.

and Purdue immediately goes on maybe the fastest 9-0 run I’ve ever seen

this is a good game

10-0 run by Purdue answered by a 7-0 run by UNC

wild game

it turns out that a team that gave up 87 to Brown and 83 to CofC is gonna have a hard time stopping Purdue

Fucking Purdue always has some overgrown bigfoot goon to deal with.

Good 1st half. Good atmosphere, good intensity. Fun watch all the way around.

Yea, Purdue has a good team, balanced. They're always frustrating to deal with, their size and shooters always have green light.

Purdue needs to play Williams more.

and the fact Williams and Eddey literally can’t play together, kinda negates the advantage of having them both.

Nova on the verge of going full blow UCLA game late again.

Not sure if it’s the lack of depth(Nova usually never has a ton tho)

But that’s two straight big games where Nova has went the final 8 minutes and completely lost all fundamentals or memory of how to run their offense.

Very strange

Jay Wright never lets these games die, lol...

I'd say cold shooting and the lack of a real go to player when they really tighten the nuts. Maybe some fatigue.

But you get what you get with this Nova team. It's essentially been the same core for the last 3 years. And all 3 years, the team has had the same sorta ranking.

But they've never had the opportunity to see how far they can go (COVID, injury). I think that's why they came back.

Both those teams look like contenders. Purdue got hot at the right time

They also collapsed against Baylor and G'town in March last year. I think lack of a real go-to guy. Slow defensive feet.
