Those Astros players will have to answer for that when their time comes. The voters will make their decisions just like these voters made theirs.

Most are out of touch with outdated ways of thinking. Scott Rolen and Andruw Jones should be in(they probably will eventually, especially with Ortiz, Clemens, Bonds and Schilling off the ballot now).

Bonds, Clemens and A-Rod should be too.

And some how Dick Allen didn’t make the veteran’s committee cut

Absolutely. It's wild how easy it is for users to stay ahead of the testing.

The stories that came out of the Arod deal were amazing. I remember one was that he got a surprise test a day or so after a cycle, he called his guy, his guy said do A, B, and C, and he passed the test.

It's pretty clear that the only ones testing positive are either getting cheap shit, buying from people that didn't know their stuff, or not following directions.

My biggest issue with the old farts still voting is how hypocritical many of them are. Some of these guys have been around for a long time and were voting in guys from the 1960-1980s. When players were widely taking greenies (methamphetamines) as gameday rituals. And that shit had been going on ever since Ted Williams.

But for whatever reason, it hasn't been seen as a PED the same way as steroids. Even tho you have guys like Darryl Strawberry saying it made the baseball look huge and easier to contact with. And yet, theres no taint on that generation of players. It was that laissez faire approach that led to players eventually taking steroids and hgh

Explain to me Sandy Koufax. For 6 years he was basically a replacement level player who all of a sudden becomes a GOAT.
