Morning gang

Monday is here. Weekend was meh since I was sick all weekend, but eh, on the mend. Yesterday was my nieces HS graduation and I was healthy enough to go, just kept my distance from everyone although it rained, so stuck inside, but got to see family normally i only see at funerals, so
 
Friday I worked 6 hours then mowed half the lawn then went to the Brewers game where the Crew slapped 23 hits (league high so far this year) and clapped the Southside Sox 12-5. It was a fun game, but also a little frustrating as they left 16 on base and closed out (almost?) every inning with runners in scoring position. Really, the score should've been at more like 20-5.

Saturday was "clean the house" day. My daughter also finished trip back home from college; got to hug her for the first time in 6 months.

After church Sunday, we stopped at the store and grabbed some "puppy" supplies as this coming Saturday will be "bring puppy home" day. After that I mowed the remainder of the lawn and cleaned the gutters while the wife pressure washed half the deck, patio and siding.
 
Morning. Got the garden planted finally. Not as much this year as in the past, but I think it will be easier to control. Blackberries went nuts, need to do a better job at picking them this year so I don't have so many seeds in the ground. Actually pulled a few canes because they were covering strawberry plants and killing them.

This year it's beans, tomatoes, bell peppers, lettuce, kale, cucumbers, zucchini, and eggplant. Herbs in are oregano, thyme, chives, basil, and dill. My dill went to seed last year, and I have like 40 plants going, even after I pulled a bunch and gave it to family.
 
Was mostly a bum this weekend since we had 0 activities. Stayed up too late watching college baseball. Buck has bragging rights again in baseball. Did buy mulch & flowers. Kids pulled the weeds & wife planted flowers & then had the mulch laid out to her liking.
