local restaurant that has been around for a while closed their doors suddenly this weekend so they had a going away, open bar thing on Sunday. Sad to see it go but maybe it is an opportunity to get something fresh in there

No.

The first one was just old. Battery wouldn't hold a charge. Second one, got a bit stuck in the chuck, and haven't been able to unstick it. Didn't have anything to drink until I was done. Maybe that caused the problem.

We got dumped on with snow Sunday night. Probably close to two feet. Kids have a snow day today, which is weird, but they're happy.

Skied Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
 
dragged the fucking 40 ft cypress into the woods on Friday, a couple limbs at a time.

I tell you what, dragging a full tree into the woods on your own will wipe you the fuck out.

got my hand me down Ryobi chainsaw out to get the broken limb off my cherry blossom tree and ended up sitting in my driveway doing maintenance on the fucker, cleaning up the internals that were gooped up.

then the chain came off mid sawing...so that was fun

You staying south of the river? The one time I've been in Austin I stayed north of it. Near Stubb's BBQ. Not far from the Texas Capitol...which is actually pretty cool.

I'm in NW Austin

I'm about 20 minutes from Stubbs. Terry Blacks was also 20 minutes away. I seem to be 20-30 minutes away from everything though
