Morning all

Denver was really fun, although just saw my bar tabs for the weekend, EEEEEEK, about 50% more than I expected to spend. I actually suspect I picked up too many rounds


Checked out Soccer stadium, coors field, couple of breweries, distilleries and dive bars. Also got out to Boulder.

Homeless people are different out there. One was digging in potted plants and when I walked up he pulled out a plant and threw it air, which sprayed me with dirt. But he seemed a little crazy, so I just kept walking and brushed the dirt off. So another arguing with a doorway, one scream in excitment finding a beer can in the trash, good times

Morning. Had a good weekend. Got some rides in at Six Flags Friday night, joined the YMCA, power washed the house on Sunday. Cooked dinner on Sunday at the in-laws', walked the parade yesterday then went to my sister's for dinner. Have lots of leftover chicken and pork belly, so I'm gonna be eating good at lunch time the next couple days.

I was super anxious all weekend and it rained almost every day -- got offered a job on Friday and I countered their proposed salary for a few thousand more. Because of the holiday everyone was gone so they couldn't get back with me right away, so I've just been anxiously waiting for some sort of reply.

Also, it's going to suck telling my current staff that I'm leaving if I do take it as i've been here almost 15 years. Might have less time to fuck around these parts as well.

Yeah, they have an issue with it out there.

That said, the last time I was out there, there were homeless freaks everywhere and I felt like I had to keep my head on a swivel at all times. Sad.

Just took the call -- couldn't budge on the salary but I got a $2500 signing bonus!

Job pays $26k more than I currently make (was going for an even $30k) + a $2500 signing bonus. Really excited, but will probably see my posting here drop down a bit lol.

@Red_Alert WTF... I de-installed Realtek Audio Driver... Restarted my computer when it came back on it said I had sound and then 2 seconds later it went away saying No Audio Device Found

Yep. I'm installed Norton Premium twice as well. Seems ok (knock on wood) now
