Harbaugh extension coming soon

At least Harbaugh did not lose to OSU this year.

Giving a coach who has consistently failed at winning The Big Game an extension sounds unwise.

If anything I think it’s for recruiting purposes. I imagine it’s tough getting top kids to commit when your contract runs only through their sophomore year.

Not showing up is worse than losing ... that said this was a strange year, but that is not an excuse. As far as Harbaugh, no one ever asked for my opinion about the Michigan Head Football Coach, and the program is bigger than any person. I will support Michigan Football and their coach. GO BLUE!!!!

Uh, ok.

Now THIS is the best news I've heard all day

I do think Ryan Day eventually goes to the NFL and it will suck, but when he does, Ohio State will have no shortage of head coaching prospects. My larger worry would be who Day takes with him

Sounds like Harbaugh's extension is coming soon and will likely be sticking around for a while. Rumors are it's through 2026, announcing Monday or Tuesday next week.

Ryan Day won't leave for the NFL anytime soon. He and his wife love Columbus. His children are very young and I think he's the type of person who wants to settle in one place vs moving around. He has everything he could possibly want at OSU. He's already getting paid well and I would suspect he will get a bump fairly soon once this season ends.

I agree it won't be soon, but I think it could happen one day

love Columbus
I would have laughed at this a few years ago. A couple of years back I had to stay the weekend in Columbus for work and the Jazz and Ribs fest was going on. Had a blast. Also drank in a laundromat and ate breakfast at some awesome diner near campus. Cool place.
