Harbaugh Looking For NFL Gig

I don't think he wants another one. Him and Nick Cannon are single handedly trying repopulate the world. Harbaugh has 7 kids. I would hope he is done now.
$20 million a year could easily allow him to afford 9, maybe 14 kids.

Day has proven he gets completely out coached late in big games. See the last 2 Michigan games, this UGA game and the Clemson playoff game after the 19 season
If Ryan Day were responsible for your defense, then I'd 100% agree with you.

2021 -- Michigan simply bullied OSU's defense all over the field. Ryan Day fires the DC and whoever else.
2022 -- OSU simply did not trust their front 4 to hold up against UM and instead went with zero blitz and bringing LBs to the gaps almost every down. They didn't think McCarthy could beat them -- he did. Again -- that's on the defense.

2022 Georgia -- NO ONE thought OSU would play the type of game they did. The offense put up over 40 points on a defense that hadn't given up more than 24 all year. It was your defense that had issues. Those big time recruits Sawyer, JTT, Zach Harrison -- they were soft compared to Joey Bosa, Nick Bosa, Chase Young. THAT is OSU's issue, not Ryan Day.

When you are getting beat on late In games in the 2nd half constantly in big games it shows you just aren’t a great coach. If Day isn’t blowing teams out he sucks

No doubt -- if someone offers him $20 million a year -- then yeah, I could see him leaving. When the highest paid coach is making 12.5 million -- if someone offers me $20 million -- I'd bounce too.

Your defense is what is killing you guys. Is Day responsible for Ohio State's defense? I thought he was the offensive guy?
Go look at all the early round picks OSU has had from the defensive side of the ball over the years. You don't have players like that on your defense anymore. You don't have a Bosa brothers or a Chase Young on the defensive line. You don't have a Lattimore, Ward, Conley, Apple, Okudah, etc. in the seconday. You don't have a Hooker (i think that was his name) and the stud safety from NJ, he picked off the pass to beat UM at UM one year late in the game.

Your defense does not have the play makers like you have had for 10+ years. You can be pushed around. You can be passed on. That is OSU's issue. Not the offense. Your offense is pumping out more talent than anyone else.

he's TrustMeImRight

he's better than Bruce Feldman had has a lot more credibility

and that is a fact
Exactly -- you forgot to say an unnamed source told you this. That makes it legit on the internet.

Day is the head coach. It all comes back to him.

This is starting to get genuinely annoying.

And he took action after Michigan beat you guys the first time. He fired the defensive staff. Brought in the Okie State guy. He isn't coaching the defense or calling the defensive plays -- so while the win or loss falls on him -- he is holding up his end of the bargain on offense. It is the soft players on defense that is killing OSU and having no one teams even have to game plan for on defense.

I used to dread playing OSU when Nick Bosa was there, when Joey Bosa was there, when Chase Young was there, when Lattimore was there, when Okudah was there, the list goes on and on for OSU's defense. You don't have a single player like that now. JTT is the closest one and nothing about him is going to make a team game plan around him, like they had to with all those other guys.

You have to be used to it by now. It is the same thing every single year. When your college coach had a win percentage of 70% in the NFL. Teams are going to want to kick the tires if a job opens.

I'm so used to it now I don't even bother reading the articles. It is the same thing every time -- "unnamed source" says, "Fill in the blank of NFL job opening" wants to hire Harbaugh.

Now if the $20 million offer is real. I'd fully expect him to go. The highest paid coach in all of football makes $12.5 million. He'd be dumb NOT to take $20 million.

With Harbaugh's exit, there will be an almost total dearth of coaching talent in the B1G.

LOL @ the B1G :L

David Shaw will be the next coach of the Michigan Wolverines

I dislike Harbaugh as much as the next guy but seriously, just stop with this BS.

I just wish they'd be much swifter to address this, especially with the impact it can have on recruiting.

He already came out in December and said he was going to be the coach in 2023. These unnamed sources come out every december with the rumors.

I will say this -- if the $20 million a year from Denver is true. We may as well say bye to him now. That is FU money for a HC. I think Belichick is the highest paid coach and he only makes 12.5
