This all seems like jockeying to get a bigger contract. The @i hope to be at Michigan” screams of a contract negotiation
I tend to now agree.

It’s starting to look like Harbaugh wants an NFL deal but the NFL doesn’t want him.
He can’t spend the night with recruits or wash dishes so what good is he?Yep once they actually start talking to him they suddenly back track and say "hell the fuck no" see the Vikings disaster last year for reference. Harbaugh is a "unique" personality. And not in a good way from what it seems.
Will be interesting to see how things go with him and Michigan going forward now that his "tard wrangler" Biff is off to Charlotte to do his own things. Apparently things got much better once Biff got there and basically became his hand holder and did all of Jims communicating for him.
That may be the most ridiculous statement I've heard in a long, long time. Biff has been at UM multiple times and in all honesty, he reminds me of the assistant coach from Waterboy. To hear how he is somehow responsible for all the communicating, when not once all year did you hear a quote or see the guy do an interview, it hilarious.Yep once they actually start talking to him they suddenly back track and say "hell the fuck no" see the Vikings disaster last year for reference. Here is the guy you were talking about. That is what he wears when he is the HC.

Jim Harbaugh Emerges As 'A Top Candidate' For NFL Team
Jim Harbaugh appears to be very much in the running to be the next coach of the Denver Broncos. Will the Broncos hire Harbaugh?www.outkick.com
“He has now emerged as a top candidate in Denver,” Tom Pelissero reported Tuesday morning. He noted the conversation between Harbaugh and the Broncos went for “over two hours.”
As long as the Broncos don't hire Ryan Day -- Michigan will be just fine.![]()

I think he is ACTIVELY looking for the school to give him his 2nd raise in as many years, same thing that happened last year.YEa but he's NOT ACTIVELY LOOKING according to dUMb fans![]()
I think he is ACTIVELY looking for the school to give him his 2nd raise in as many years, same thing that happened last year.
I also think -- if the rumors are true about what Denver was willing to offer him -- he ACTIVELY would be an idiot not to take the job, as he'd never make anything near that amount in CFB.
Michigan would be dumb not to give him a raise. He will be making less than Ryan Day, less than Mel Tucker, less than Matt Rhule, less than Luke Fikell and roughly the same as James Franklin.Michigan would be dumb to fall for it, he's only hurting them more every year he pulls this shit. It's not likely to stop either even if they do give in, he will just keep going for more
I don't blame anyone that has the ability to succeed in the NFL leaving college with NIL and the portal mess. At least in the NFL you aren't babysitting and the players are employees but in college you are kissing ass and putting up with BS to not only recruit them but keep them on campus and then they might still put themselves out on the market for more money.Michigan would be dumb not to give him a raise. So if it is to get a raise -- I don't blame him at all. Then again, he could just want to go coach at the highest level of his profession where it is simply about coaching.
If he does decide to go -- he left the program in a hell of a lot better shape than it was in when he got here.
It is why Michigan will have to deal with the NFL knocking on the door after every season for Harbaugh. He won 70% of his games in the NFL.I don't blame anyone that has the ability to succeed in the NFL leaving college with NIL and the portal mess. Coaching College football can't be fun for anyone right now.

The guy is eclectic and can be a handful for GM's to deal with, but all the NFL cares about is winning and Harbaugh has done it at every spot he has coached.
Simply fact is -- Michigan has no business beating Ohio State by 3 scores in back to back years. They recruit at a completely different level than Michigan. But Michigan went back to what Harbaugh knows and he has grossly outcoached Ryan Day the last couple years. So Michigan has to deal with the NFL again. It is what it is.
We were throwing the ball a hell of a lot more. JJ McCarthy and Cade McNamara both threw for less yards than Shea Patterson, even though they played 2 more games than Shea in their seasons as QB.Michigan wasn't doing what Harbaugh knows his first 6 years? What the hell was he doing

Michigan was going to be "speed in space" on offense -- spreading it out and throwing it. It wasn't until after Covid that UM went back to smash mouth pro style run first type offense.
2017-2018 we were 50th in rushing
2018-2019 we were 35th in rushing
2019-2020 we were 68th in rushing
2020-2021 we were 94th in rushing
Then Harbaugh went back to his style of offense
2021-2022 we were 15th in rushing
2022-2023 we were 7th in rushing
I'd think as an OSU fan you would know this already. Or did you think Michigan was a run first team the entire time?
Michigan threw the ball more than ever have. Shea Patterson has two of the top 10 single season passing yard seasons, including the 2nd most. Jake Ruddock is in the top 10 all time for single season passing yards in his one year as starting QB at #3 all time. They were never a pass first team lol. Just bc they were bad at it doesn't mean they weren't a run first team.
Harbaughs best move was relinquishing control
