Apparently he leads the league by a wide margin with 17 INTs called back due to flags since 2022.

The general consensus seems to be that the Chiefs can’t win without the refs calling all of these flags.

Add in the Taylor Swift stuff and her direct ties to political campaigning while all of this is happening and you’ve got a out of fans wondering what exactly is going on?

Is all of this hurting his legacy? A lot of people think it’s starting to. What do you say?

It’s not gonna hurt his legacy, but the Eagles for sure got screwed in the SB a couple years ago, and the penalty that set up the game winning FG yesterday was bullshit too

I say no, but there is clear bias. No one will remember those calls, just the wins and stats.

No, he is still crazy good and makes some unreal plays. The seeming bias is starting to wear a little on people though. (I've always bitched about it but I have a little bit of a bias)

My beloved Bengals got cheated and the refs and Mahomes will be judged on their transgressions on judgement day.

Not really. Just stop being a bitch about him drawing defenders offside and taking advantage of free plays.

No. That pass interference was clear as day, just the way it goes.

Another week and a little bit more shine off that legacy.

It’s bullshit, but it’s well known you have to beat both the Chiefs and the refs. Falcons knew that coming in. It’s like playing Bama under Saban, it’s never a fairly called game and you just have to deal with it

Clear bias, but it didn't hurt Brady's legacy.

"That is a real-time call that officials have to make a judgment on. From the angle that they had at the time, they did not feel that there was a foul committed."

That argument doesn't hold up. Now refs can use rapid instant replay to make the right call. It happened yesterday in the Packers-Titans game on a "catch & fumble" that was deemed "no catch" with rapid replay and that play was much less obvious than the one in the Chiefs game.

I remember that season where the NFL allowed PI calls to be challenged and shockingly, the officials never overturned them so they did away with it. Too much of an ego blow to admit they were wrong.

For some reason, pass int are not reviewable.

And it shouldn’t be IMO.

If I had my way, only penalties would be offsides and false start, and too many men if 12 players actually lineup and participate in the play, none of that he was a half second late getting to the sidelines technically bullshit. Other than that, if there’s no blood, play on

Those quick reviews they're doing now are supposed to be simply an extension of the officiating on the field - like having an extra official in the booth who can throw a flag, pick one up or be that extra ref that hops into the ref huddle when they discuss what they saw on a play. It's not supposed to be an official "play review" as if it were challenged by a coach (or booth inside of 2 min).
