Nah, he's 17. Went to state tourney for wrestling and is in tip top shape. Of course he knows everything at that age too, just ask him.

Any normal year, would have just isolated him and partied on, but I don't want some asshole blaming us if they give their 99 year old Mee-Maw the China Flu that kills her.

Had to pivot last minute on our pre-chrimmus dinner since our hostess came down with something. She’s 29 and vaxxed but is super sick. I’m guessing regular ass flu but since the rest of us are headed to Disneyland this weekend, we weren’t taking any chances with getting ANY type of malady.
Sorry to hear about your gumbo…I had picked up about $200 of crab & shrimp for a boil. :sigh:

Christmas Eve at our home is a quiet affair with just my wife and kids. We have relatives over on Christmas Day.

We did have to pivot a bit. Original plan was to go to my brother-in-law’s nephew’s house tonight and then we were doing Christmas at our house. Then, the nephew insisted that everyone take a COVID test before going. I don’t even really know the guy and I’m not running out and buying a shitload of COVID tests before going to his house. So I said fuck that and now we’re all just staying here.
