They were Christmas cookies.
Christmas trees, snowmen, ornaments, snowflakes. I was practicing my decorating skillz so when the Main Event arrives, I’m prepared!

I noticed this the other day. I was in a store, they started playing Christmas Music, and I started buying more shit.

I already have my Christmas lights up. In fact, the only reason they weren’t up before Halloween was I still had Halloween decorations up and made them come back a week later.
 
Was in the 60's yesterday in Brew Town so put up my Christmas lights. Not going to turn them on mind you till Dec 1 but couldn't pass up the opportunity with the weather being so warm.

LOL, I might put mine up this week to irk my neighbors. My neighborhood does all the holidays big. Every year we seem to get pressured to put them up earlier and earlier. I think I'll push the envelope to see what happens.

The wife and I walked through the neighborhood yesterday morning. I’d say about 10% of the houses have their lights up (probably all people who use a service rather than doing it themselves).

I don't even have a security light. I like the deep black of a night sky with the stars as the only light.

We’re in stage one of decorating. The rest doesn’t happen until after Thanksgiving. That includes the tree and interior decorations, lawn art (lighted snowmen, penguins and shit like that) and giant ornaments that are hung in the trees in the front yard. There’s another day to day and a half of work to be done still.
