We’re in stage one of decorating. The rest doesn’t happen until after Thanksgiving. That includes the tree and interior decorations, lawn art (lighted snowmen, penguins and shit like that) and giant ornaments that are hung in the trees in the front yard. There’s another day to day and a half of work to be done still.

I'll be watching football. Just have never got into the yard decorating except maybe a harvest display of pumpkins and corn stalks

The wife and I walked through the neighborhood yesterday morning. I’d say about 10% of the houses have their lights up (probably all people who use a service rather than doing it themselves).

Wait people pay other people to put up their xmas lights?

The houses in my neighborhood are tall with steep rooflines. Not many people do it themselves, particularly if they do the rooflines.
