People seem to forget that OU kinda sucked down the stretch last year after Muleshoe took a powder and our Water Walking QB turned into a mere mortal.Wait this years sooners or last season sooners? Cause I think that's a high bar for TN as of now
yeah but tbh a school like TN would have killed to have had that.. and the talent on that team last seasonPeople seem to forget that OU kinda sucked down the stretch last year after Muleshoe took a powder and our Water Walking QB turned into a mere mortal.![]()
Talent that Muleshoe wasted. And Caleb Williams regressed. It was a clown show. I'm just glad they're both gone and we can shuffle the deck. Seriously, it was time to see some big changes even if the O looks different with the new staff/players. The D damn near has to be better. Alex Grinch was letting that Speed D play soft tits coverage just like Mike Stoops used to love. It was a clusterfvck. Let's both have a good season and then get out of here.yeah but tbh a school like TN would have killed to have had that.. and the talent on that team last season
That's a Friday ... what's happening on the 23rd?

lmaoo... love how y'all really think Texas wouldn't have won independence without y'all. Biggest was the moral victory at the Alamo?Texas doesn't even exist as a state without Tennessee. Get out with that crap. Most of your state founders were born and raised in Tennessee. Not to mention our University was founded in 1792 before Texas was even thought about.
Will be interesting to see what they have to do to make the existing QBs happy. Can or worms.Yeah -- I was thinking the same thing. For that kind of money -- you better be getting the best of the best, not the 3rd or 4th ranked guy at their position.
But -- if that QB can talk others into joining -- it may be worth it, but with the news out about the 8 million -- it is going to cost Tennessee a fortune to sign the others.![]()
Couldn't even get the no. 1 QB who's last name is Manning. That tells you something.Yeah -- I was thinking the same thing. For that kind of money -- you better be getting the best of the best, not the 3rd or 4th ranked guy at their position.

Sam Houston was a teenager when forced to move to TN and promptly ran away. Smart man.Read your history, Sam Houston was also from Tennessee and was even a governor of Tennessee. He is basically Texas' George Washington.
Also you guys are just slightly ahead of Tennessee in football but it isn't by much, we are both historically strong programs that have fallen on hard times.
Texas is better in men's basketball and Tennessee in women's basketball.
Texas is better in baseball and Tennessee in softball. We are very close in athletics across the board. Yet University of Tennessee was founded over 50 years before the University of Texas so I think it has earned the right to UT.
What a bunch of queer factoids that mean jack shit, and I hate texASSTexas doesn't even exist as a state without Tennessee. Get out with that crap. Most of your state founders were born and raised in Tennessee. Not to mention our University was founded in 1792 before Texas was even thought about.
That's like giving present day British homos any credit for today's US, completely gayRead your history, Sam Houston was also from Tennessee and was even a governor of Tennessee. He is basically Texas' George Washington.

OU won 11 games last year. It's been 20 years since Tennesee won 11 games. They'd do cartwheels to suck down the stretch and win 11 games.People seem to forget that OU kinda sucked down the stretch last year after Muleshoe took a powder and our Water Walking QB turned into a mere mortal.![]()
By OU standards it was a terrible season while we watched our offense go into the toilet, lose to a hated rival, barely squeak by in the games we did win and not win at least a conference championship......all with the game's "Greatest Offensive Mind" and a QB that had moved into the Heisman discussion. And the D? It was porous but what's new at Oklahoma? 11 wins and most of them were ugly as hell. It was time to reboot at OU and we'll see what happens now. It's going to be great if we win 11 games playing in the SEC someday but OU needs to get a lot better to have any hopes of doing that.OU won 11 games last year.
