Hey Georgia and Alabama..

Which orange is worse? Texas or Tennessee? Man that's a tough one.

To get back to topic, looks like he could potentially bring some friends. Carnell Tate (the #2 WR) is supposedly on board according to the rumors and was sharing/liking Nico's commitment. Apparently they became fast friends at the AA game.

Apparently there is this company based in Knoxville called Spyre who signed Nico lamaleava to a $ 2 Mil per year arrangement. It is 8% of their funds setup for 2022 just on him but are gunning to get more big-time recruits.

The money was probably the main factor but Nico also hit it off very well with Heupel.

The best part was that Alabama was bragging about the $ 1M Bryce Young made on NIL just last year.

Yeah, we paid $1 million...for #1, you paid more than twice that for #4...must be Tennessee math.

Is that supposed to be a comeback? Did you even read the article? Can you read?

If you Google Alabama vs Tennessee football one of the first suggested questions is "has Tennessee ever beaten Alabama in football....it's been that long.

Might want to reserve your trash talk a bit OP

The money was "probably" the main factor? It was the only factor.

The Heisman trophy winner Bryce Young will bring in less than half of what Tennessee is paying this kid a year (I believe he was the player earning the most in CFB at just over 900k a year). And if you want to bring in his friend -- he will be expecting a big NIL deal too, just like his friend.

It will be fun to watch the bidding wars and see kids flop on the field, and watch those funding the deals trying to get out of paying them. CFB just needs to have a salary cap. Thinking about how fun recruiting would be to watch go down.

Edited to add -- the details on A&M's class aren't out, but i'm sure they have quite a few guys in that class who will be pulling in sick amounts from NIL too.

Bububububuttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt, SEC schedule mayun. It is murderers row ya know.

Tennessee would have had 10+ wins every year if they played in the other power conferences.

My SEC homer card now?
I get your point, and I am going to throw up in my mouth a bit to defend UTjr, but if your team had to play Bama, UGA and UF every year what you said might in fact be true. For most teams, that is a guaranteed 2 losses in most years, 3 in many, 1 in some lucky years when at least 2 of the programs are down. You will win the natty if you beat all 3.

Stop ... if you don't think he is going to UTjr for the $2 million, I don't know what to tell you. This is a Cali guy who was queued up at the top programs in the country and suddenly gets offered $2 million and says UTjr was "his dream school." Hey, this is the new reality, and that's fine, but let's not think that he is going there because of Heupel. Not that I blame him, the school willing to pay anyone $8 million damn well better be their dream school.

I don't know how he kept a straight face if he actually said Tennessee was his 'dream school', while coming from California. Then again -- for $8 million -- I'd go play for Gallaudet University where all my teammates would be deaf and I'd have to learn sign language to communicate with them. I'd call it my dream school too for $8 million.

Hell, my team has a hard enough time playing Rice, North Texas and New Mexico State! But, if Bama, UGA and UF will pull out the check book we'll be their huckleberry!
