Nebraska Cornhuskers Honoring Solich

Not a big fan of Solich as HC. Particularly the (7-7) season and the blowout (36-62) loss to Colorado.

To be fair T.O. (who followed Devaney) was a tough act to follow.

I was a 'Fighting Frankie' fan when he coached the Ohio Bobcats. However, in his 16 years there he never won a conference championship.

He does deserve to be honored as a player and RB coach for so many years. If we can honor guys like Milt Tenopir and other position coaches, we can honor Frankie.
 
BTW... Rhule is a very good communicator.

Let's hope that pays off coaching/motivating current players, and in recruiting living rooms across the country.

Solich was loyal to T.O.’s old staff to a fault especially not making them hit the road recruiting. Those coaches that went on to coach at other schools after the whole Nebraska staff was canned had to recruit.
