Hooplanation Pick 6 game

You guys picked my top 3 let me think about it and I’ll pick in the morning.

Based on schedule I’m going with Kentucky.

So everyone's teams:

@Wild Turkey

Georgia
Texas
Washington
TCU
Iowa
Kentucky

@Red_Alert

Ohio State
LSU
Oregon
Wisconsin
UCLA
Kansas

@osubuckeye89

Michigan
Penn State
Utah
Oregon State
Texas A&M
Pitt

@CoalTrain

Alabama
Clemson
Notre Dame
Kansas State
North Carolina
Miami

@Jon Deaux

Florida State
USC
Tennessee
Oklahoma
Ole Miss
Texas Tech

So now it's up to your teams to win as many games as possible.

Baylor
South Carolina
Auburn
WVU
Oklahoma State
Arkansas
Florida
Maryland
Nebraska
Michigan State
Illinois
BYU
UCF

All have a chance at making all of us feel really stupid for not picking them in that 6th tier but :laugh: ... we'll see.

No Kansas?

They got a good coach IMO.

No they got picked, I’m talkin about teams that could win more games than the teams that were picked by all of us.

IIRC Kansas State was that team last season. They didn’t get picked at all then went on to win the Big12.

Michigan State sucked tailpipe last year for someone and they were in the rankings so they got picked.

Last year I pretty much got every team I wanted and knew I was going to smoke this game. Then TCU and Tenn screwed everything up and I was middle of the pack.

This year I have zero confidence in my picks so I guess go ahead and engrave the trophy.

I picked KY over Auburn and South Carolina because of schedule. KY got the best QB transfer in the off season and they have the easiest road of the 3.

The 6th pick at best should be around 8-3 so the challenge is to find a team that has the best shot at that.

I feel solid ( at least.. 10 wins or so?) in my first 3 picks but past that….:hope:

I never got to pick first, but outside of Georgia I feel pretty good about what was available when it was my turn. I went with schedules and potential momentum.

You'd think Ohio St's good for 10 wins.

Brian Kelly had a good opener for LSU (10-4). They dodge Georgia and should be competitive with their home opener against #8 FSU. Get by that one then they've got @ #22 Ole Miss, @ #4 Alabama, then home against #23 A&M.

Lanning had a good first season at Oregon (10-3).

Fickell's in his first season at Wiscy, but they've got good lines and a favorable schedule outside of #25 Ohio St and #25 Iowa.

Chip Kelly's improved UCLA every year (3-9)(4-8)(3-4 covid)(8-4)(9-4). Can they do just as good or even take another step this year? They dodge Oregon, so I could see 10 wins if they don't step on their dicks in games they should win and can steal one from either #14 Utah, #18 Oregon St, or #6 USC.

Kansas crashed and burned late last season (depth?), but they beat Iowa St who beat Iowa. They played TCU to 7 points. Leipold got them bowl bound with a 37 - 16 win over then #18 Okie Jr. They played Arky (dint wanna be there) to 2 points in their Liberty bowl loss.
If Leipold (2-10) (6-7) can take the next step in year 3 I can see them winning 7 or 8 games. Their Illinois game in week 2 could tell the story. I figure Bert to have better lines in his 3rd season at Illinois.
