Who has been some Heisman Trophy snubs since 2000 regular season (23 seasons)?

Give the player and the season he should have won the Heisman.

This is just making a list. It doesn't mean they will make the bracket or have any impact on seeds. I will have other threads for seeding and removing minor snubs.

Are talking about getting an invite but not winning it, or not getting an invite at all

Tavon Austin 2012.

Lil SOB played everything but QB and was unbelievable and yet… not even a SEAT in New York?!?

Lost what little respect I ever had for the Heisman trophy voting after that.

Toby Gerhart in 2009 likely because Stanford wasn’t all that great that season (8-5). He got hosed. Ran for nearly 2,000 yards and 28 TDs, both tops in CFB by a wide margin. Dude absolutely dominated.

Suh without question, this is for reference to how good he actually was....

yes, that his how Suh (by himself) stacks up against the entire defensive line of those teams.

I think Ingram was the right call in 09.

It’s not like Suh was a Woodson level defensive player. And it’s not like teams that go 6-3 in conference help guys win Heisman trophies.

Looking thru the list of winners, the biggest overlook is Reggie Bush in 05. Still feels like he did win, not just should’ve.

Larry Fitzgerald 2003
Toby Gerhart 2008
Ndamukong Suh 2009
Tavon Austin 2012
Christian McCaffrey 2015

Bush did win in 2005. It has been vacated.
