It just sucks that Nebraska is slightly better than Kansas these day. Really makes you think what happened. My kids don't even know who they are.

You just wait, it all ebbs and flows. Kansas was actually significantly better than you in the 90's.

Tough list to pick 8 from.

I went (In Order)
1. Saban
2. Bear
3. Hayes
4. Bowden
5. Switzer
6. Dabo
7. Meyer
8. Spurrier

Dabo is at the same level at Saban since the CFB playoffs begun, Meyer and Spurrier won at two different schools which bumps them up, and Bowden a lot of games at a school that has had just a good year or two since he left.

Huh?

You have 4 days to vote for 8 coaches.

Here is what the bracket looks like.

Is this only for FBS coaches only? Because if this is for all of CFB Larry Kerhres (Mount Union) has everyone beat. 27 seasons.

-332-24-3 record
-.929 winning percentage (best ever)
-11 national titles (most ever)
-21 unbeaten regular seasons (most ever)
-23 conference crowns (most ever)
-55 consecutive wins (most ever)

It's South Carolina. 3 straight 11 win seasons there never happened before and will probably never happen again. Pretty sure he's still the last SEC East coach to beat Bama.

LOL

At least try to mask your SEC homer.

(3-9)
(7-6)

(9-5)
(7-6)
(7-6)
(6-6)
(8-5)
(7-5)

But after 6 years on the job he won 11 games 3 times.
No conference titles.
1 SEC CCG appearance where they got housed 56-17.
No major bowls.

Top 8 greatest coach evar, doh!!!!

A better answer to "What did Spurrier ever win at Scar" would have been "Some golf matches".

Yeah, giving credit when due makes me a conference homer.

The program a coach is at makes a difference. Were that his track record at Florida, he wouldn't make the list, but he's the best coach in South Carolina's history. What Dan Mullen did at Mississippi State is more impressive than anything he's done at Florida. Dabo Swinney gets a big bump from me because he turned a program that isn't a traditional power, that was a running joke when he took over and turned them into a powerhouse NFL factory.

And this makes him the #8 goat?

OK, homer.
