If he went to jump school.and lives in the northern VA area, I'm not a fan.Is Fred the dummy that posted a screenshot of his military papers? derp
Have working AC in my car again. Was worth the wait. Dragged my feet for almost a year. The heat and humidity of July finally forced my hand.Nah, I’ll just try again tomorrow. It doesn’t expire until the end of the month.
Good point. Rye is an acceptable alternative in an OF.I don't like Rye whiskey, but that does make a better old fashioned. It's the only way I can stand Rye
I don't know, haven't seem in awhile, but he's, as some would say, specialIs Fred the dummy that posted a screenshot of his military papers? derp
Damn man, sorry to hear all of that. Had a family member recently get a pacemaker, amazing how quickly that surgery can be bounced back from so here's to hoping the same for you uncle. The others I can't speak for, just putting good vibes out for them.Well the shit storm is starting it seems. Mom's cousin (HVAC Guy) was transported to hospice as they found him laying on the floor this morning. Not looking like he's going to make it to his annual Halloween party as he hoped. Only grandma I have left fell last night. She's going to have surgery soon I guess. My disabled uncle who lives with her is having a pacemaker put in Tuesday.

My uncle is a tough dude. He was born with a bad heart and went through surgeries as a kid. One cost him both legs below the knees, a hand/wrist, and basically all his fingers on the other hand from gangrene. He's had heart attacks & strokes but has bounced back as well as allergic reactions to a bee stings. He's lived longer than most ever expected. He's an amazing pool player despite all this as he's competed out in Vegas many times.Damn man, sorry to hear all of that. Rye I use for other favorite cocktail a Manhattan: George Dickel Rye usually (I do rotate my Rye), Carpano Antica formula for the sweet vermouth (expensive but the crown jewel), bitters, and a Luxardo Maraschino Cherry. More expensive to make than an Old Fashion though.I don't like Rye whiskey, but that does make a better old fashioned. It's the only way I can stand Rye
With the vermouth and rye, manhattans taste "historic" to me. Can't describe it other than that. It's got a dusty, green flavor...like how a historic old building like Monticello smells.Rye I use for other favorite cocktail a Manhattan: George Dickel Rye usually (I do rotate my Rye), Carpano Antica formula for the sweet vermouth (expensive but the crown jewel), bitters, and a Luxardo Maraschino Cherry.
