Good morning

another heat warning here in MD today and tomorrow. I need to mow the lawn but I think I am going to wait until this evening when the temps drop to...*checks app*...91°

got the kayaks out yesterday and took the dog for a swim at the beach. He's limping around the house now...I need to keep him from over exerting himself when we take him swimming. He's not a pup anymore.

Tank's been having a bit of a rough go of it this summer. Just got over an ear infection, and now he had some sort of asthmatic episode on Saturday. Really worked hard to breathe when we got home, had a really fast heartbeat too. Got him to the doctor yesterday, they put him on a nebulizer and he's breathing a lot better. Unfortunately, this means he's missing day one of soccer camp, as the doc wants to observe him tomorrow before clearing him.

Otherwise, weekend was nice. Grilled some chicken last night.
 
Copa America Final fan wise was a SHITSHOW!!! WOW
 
Today Lil W is 5. Friday night mowed the yard for her party and the other 4 walked animals. Saturday had her party & did a little animal prep after until Bossy's knee gave out walking her starter calf. Got the calf pretty quickly but it took awhile to get her up. Guessing surgery is our option. Yesterday froze some bell peppers & green beans & made air fried zucchini chips. Then tattooed 4H rabbits.

With my schedule, today is the day for me to mow. Been rainy but last few days were nice. Today is the day to mow and yep rain. Says no rain in an hour and sun out rest of day. I hope it dries out enough cause when it's wet it makes a mess of my tractor.

Wife wanted to mow yesterday and again, said no fucking way you drive the whole yard without my supervision. I've repaired/replaced damaged she's done with our snow thrower. She doesn't understand looking cute and saying oopsie won't work with the damage the tractor can do. It can kill not only bushes but humans too.

I could have yesterday, but after kayaking, the beach, washing the dog, rinsing off the yaks...I didn't have it in me. I just wanted to finish reading my book and chill

We have some overnight work being done at my Costco so I was 2 to midnight yesterday. Could done a mow yesterday before work but you know, fuck that long day. Maybe 10 years ago but old age keeps that notion in check.

They were looking for a cash grab here, apparently the 2016 Copa was put on largely by US Soccer and made a boatload of money. Typical of the inept confederations here in the Western Hemisphere, they fucked up.
 
Morning all, muggy weekend and some storms. Lost power early about 1am on sunday but came back about 5 am.

At about 8 am we lost internet, at noon xfinity said it was working, it was not working, they assured me it was and the issue was on my end. Then few hours later I got an update outages in my area and around 5 pm it was finally back up and running

so went through about a gig of data on my phone because, not going to not watch porn all day
 
It's also St. Swithin's Day. I forgot to make kippers for breakfast.
