But just remember, this is a team that had a losing record 50 games into the season. This is a team who was a 6th seed in the newly expanded playoffs, had to go on the road to beat the Cardinals to make the "real deal", then had to beat YOUR Braves who, by all accounts, "should have" mopped the floor with them and swept them, then had to play another "surprise" team with hella momentum after stunning the MLB leading "too good to get beaten" Dodgers.
The Phillies shouldn't even be here. They're mega mega underdogs, and they're playing with house money. ALL of the house money. And what'd they do? Go into Houston, steal HFA, and then embarrass them in Game 3 as well. So what, we got no-hit last night. It was an off-night, which teams have. The Phillies, to be sure, have been so good for the last 6 weeks that the off-night was a bit of a surprise, indeed. But if you don't think they're going to come absolutely roaring back tonight with our incredible fans bring the place down, you're out of your mind. You can be mad that the Phillies are having all this success, but at least admit that it's nothing more than pure salty "your team stunned my team and i don't like it and it's not fair so I'm going to root against you out of petulance" childish mentality. At least admit that.
