Houston BANS e Cigs in public places

Virtue signaling authoritarians.

"I don't like what you do. Let's make a law against it."

Fuck off.

...how is that virtue signaling?

For some, you're right, but not everyone. When I was trying to quit smoking for the millionth time I gave ecigs a whirl. Started with those Blu ecigs weak but proof of concept so went to an actual vape shop got something that produced more of the same feeling in the lungs but was still not strong enough. Finally switched to a "cloud chasing" device and finally the same choking sensation I had from analogs was achieved and finally quit smoking cigs then quit vaping after halving nicotine til it was zero.

For me it helped quit smoking and I didn't do it all over indoors didn't even do it in cars when the kids weren't there.

When used to quit smoking it works and after switching is way easier to quit than smoking and it's 40,000 other chemicals you get addicted to.

Oh and to top it all off no disgusting smell that gets in everything like smoking cigarettes. Fuckers smell like shit even when they aren't smoking
I don't notice the after-smell of vapers the way I do with smokers. At my last job, a coworker would vape in his office, and you wouldn't notice 5 minutes later.

Compared to the way all my clothes would stink after a night at a bar, when I didn't smoke, I don't see the big deal.

They ought to just ban people from public places. That way no one has a chance to harm anyone else.

A less drastic measure is what they are working on. They are banning people who aren't thoughtful of others from public places.

Banning people for how they think? I don't think you thought that through.

Very little to no odor and no lingering smoke/ashing. I get still not wanting that shit to be blowing into people's faces en sech but way less invasive than cigarettes.

Guess the major "concern" is e-cigs and pot. I think a few places around here banned e-cigs because they didn't want people getting stoned and just saying it was a non-THC vape.

no one is being banned...they are being put outside so they don't affect others.

In what world is pumping nicotine laced smoke into the surrounding air "how they think"?

Or perhaps vape pens need to do away with "look how rad we are with all this vapor" and make the pens able to dispense enough for the user to enjoy but their breath out is invisible. Then no issues and no one knows the wiser.

Ought to ban people with bad breath.
while we're on it, fattys who smell like they havent showered in a year, anyone who smells like an ash tray i am sure we can keep this list rollin

if you could make it feel the same as having the full cloud without the cloud i think you'd make some serious bank

Not all vape pens and ecigs have nicotine in them. Not all public places are the size of elevators. By that thinking, we should ban all cars and trucks from public places. Etc, etc, etc...

Considering the cloud going out is pure waste, I am pretty sure they can already do so. But the marketing aspect of the big white cloud appeals to neckbeards.
