How do you shave?

Got a hot shave with a straight razor once from my barber.

Damn good shave but something about someone holding a razor to my throat gets me nervous.

If there’s no real chance of dying, it’s not fun.

My barber shaves the back of my neck with a straight razor every time I get a haircut, but I’m going through a long haired phase again

I don't shave. Once every year or two I will use trimmers to take me down to a quarter inch. Currently my beard is down to the nipples on my man boobs.

I use a Schick Hydro razor...I think with 4 blades...but my neck and (face) cheeks are the only things I shave.

I think we finally hit a max on how many blades is considered enough to give you a good shave.

Just on the neck, the beard gets clipped every three weeks.

From the age of 17 to fifty, I have had to stay shaven due to work. I mean no stubble, clean shaven because of the chemicals/respirators I worked in and with. I don't have that issue now so now I look like a member of Duck Dynasty that patched into the Hell's Angles.

I still like the high and tight look, about 1/8 inch on top and slick sides. I was a long hair once I got out of the Navy but I lost a potential job over it so I made a donation to Locks for Love. My hair was below my shoulders at the time but I have never looked back.
