I know sometimes you have to cut bait but I think a lot of the consistency with the Steelers is attributed to the stability of the coaching situation.
Your quarterback isn't learning a new offense every year. You're not trying to install a new defensive scheme every year.
You have your system in place and now you go get the players that will fit it best.
