This map is evidently quite a bit outdated... A half gallon is $2.69 in RI ... A gallon of whole milk is about $3.79. I haven't seen the price for a gallon of whole milk lower than $3.00 in MANY years here. And THOSE prices are for the store brand not the name brand milk, which are even more.I've discovered that Louisiana, Alabama and Hawaii have the highest milk prices in the Nation!
I guess we can't produce milk as cheaply as the rest of the country. Oh the shame...
