How many NCAA tourney games get cancelled ?

I believe that Carolina's team used the same seats/bench area that the Duke team used after their Louisville game. LOL
Surface transmission is pretty minimal.

The NFL played the entire season with minimal impact. I don't see why the ncaa tournament is such a guarantee to have issues.

NFL played with contingencies geared towards making games happen.

NCAA is geared towards safety is more important than NCAA field hockey, cancel at first sign of a cough.

But ... they're working the rules a little.

They should absolutely do what the nfl did. Don’t report positive cases. Pretty simple really.

Just because Duke is making themselves eligible to be able to play, doesn't mean they will make it. Because they won't.

so if a game is cancelled,
who advances?
the higher seed?
both eliminated?

I can't wait to see that in "One Shining Moment"

Get a clip of a few guys from a 15 seed sitting around with tablets and they jump up and celebrate when they see the 2 seed positive tests being reported

"Wait a minute, they only got 4 active now! We got 7 guys ready to ball right here!"

A couple of big names are already out for their teams. Ga Tech and Oklahoma starters.

I'm not sure how that happens if you need 7 negative test to enter. I expect a few more. Hopefully nobody too big.

Well I guess it's a good sign that even though players are testing positive, the games are still being played. Also after Monday it'll be down to 16, so that should help mitigate any positive tests because I'm going to assume the longer you are in Indy the less likely people will test positive.

College Hockey is just a 16 team tournament and many teams have been done for 1.5+ weeks.

They already have had 2 teams drop out for no contests. We are 2 periods into the 1st game of the tournament.

Basketball made out pretty good.

So far only one cancelled game. Fingers crossed that there won't be anymore.

But if there is, hopefully it leads to Oregon advancing without having to play USC or Gonzaga ;)
