How Many People Do You Know Personally Who Have Been Diagnosed with Covid?

A guy in our finance dept. caught it. He was in the hospital for a week and was briefly on a ventilator as a precaution. He has diabetes and is overweight. I don’t personally know the guy, but we all got updates on his condition and are glad he pulled through ok.
No one in circle of family and friends seems to have suffered from it. Several people I know suspect they had it, through the experience of a bizarre cold where they lost sense of smell/taste, but recovered immediately and with no ill effects.
