Bookie:
$ 1,000.00
ACC:
Miami doesn't play Pitt or Clemson
SMU doesn't play Clemson or Miami

B1G:
Many think it will come down to Oregon and Ohio State. Well, Indiana is still undefeated and Illinois only has one loss.
Yes, I know Penn State is still there, but we are talking James Franklin here.

SEC:
Looks like we have some things to clear up with Texas A&M, LSU, Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, and Missouri. Some of that will work itself out, but not sure how much.

BIG XII:
BYU and Iowa State are undefeated and don't play each other in the regular season. Kansas State with one loss could mess some things up because they play Iowa State.

Gonna be a lot of crazy tie-breaker stuff happening from now on. Doubt we're gonna see undefeated champs from these bloated leagues ever again

I think once the big shifts happen we will break back out into divisions to avoid three and four way ties at the end of the season. Make sure we have clear winners of the conferences.

I think we have to. I still like the 4-team pod system, then you do a mini-payoff with your pod winners to determine the CCG participants.

Anybody still complaining about "too many games" can line up right over there for their slap across the mouf

Peter Burns from ESPN just posted this scenario. I have not looked at schedules to see if this is even possible, assume from him it is.

9 Teams finish 6-2

Bama wins out (6-2)
Georgia loses to Ole Miss (6-2)
Ole Miss wins out (6-2)
LSU loses to Bama & Vandy (6-2)
Tenn loses to UGA (6-2)
Texas loses to Vandy (6-2)
Vandy loses to Tenn (6-2)
A&M loses to LSU, Tex (6-2)
Mizzou loses to Bama (6-2)

If Vandy beats LSU, Bama, and Texas all in one season, just go ahead and give them the Natty

When the four PAC 12 schools decided to join the Big 12, I popped off and said that there wasn't enough separation in reputation, money etc for some to dominate the others. I further popped off that the CCG participants would have 2-3 losses because no teams could dominate.

Okie Lite, Utah and Arizona have screwed that up. I expected a lot of games like the BYU-Okie Lite and Iowa State-UCF games. That hasn't really been the case.

I'd love to see that.

Oh yeah, the other side of it: we might have teams that are 12-0, or 11-1, but have avoided all the other tough matchups in their conference during the regular season. Then we'll have people screaming that they aren't worthy of a playoff spot.

someone is always going to scream that someone isn't worth of a playoff spot because of some reason. We could literally have no regular season and just a win-and-keep playing playoffs that start week 1 and someone would still bitch that someone got left out.

Doesn't really matter. We live in CFB participation trophy world now where everyone gets a playoff spot.
