How overrated is Bryce Harper?

I'd say Bryce Harper is rated appropriately.

Who really overrates him? And it's weird timing considering he's off to a great start this season.

I don't think either Harper or Trout are overrated.

Bryce might be overpaid, but I think most baseball players are overpaid.

He was overrated but recently he has been properly rated. He wasn’t in the same league as Trout like people claimed his first couple of years but he is a top 20-25 player IMO.

Trout is in a class of his own. Best player post Bonds easily

Yep. I hate that he is stuck on the Angels who blindly spend money without developing a homegrown core to put those big money players around. He and fans deserve to see him in the postseason.

He's more overrated than trout obviously. He's had basically one trout like season and is probably still a bigger name than him. He's still got a lot of hall of fame potential considering how young and strong he started but lately he's only been pretty good.

He isn't stuck there. He just signed a lifetime contract not that long ago. That was his own choice.

He’ll probably have Freddie Freeman as a teammate next year

I think it's more that Bryce was being touted as the next great of the game and Trout came in and totally overshadowed him.

It's not that Bryce isn't good, it's that Trout is that much better.

Harp's personality rubbed a lot of boomers the wrong way, so they just like to hate on him

Definitely. Harper is younger than Aaron Judge too, so he still has a lot of prime years left
