How overrated is Bryce Harper?

I hear more about Judge playing in only 15 games then i do hearing about Trout in playing 60 games.
That’s....not even a barometer on whose the better baseball player. That you weight “hear about him” so high....and you’ve already admitted you measure is ESPN (known for a long time as being whores for Yanks and Sox) boggles the mind.

So....as said.....

Speaking of Trout and Harper

I hope this means Wander is coming up

Trying to pin a lack of titles and post-season success on one great player on perpetually shitty teams in baseball is how you end up with the Jeter only HOF ballot dorks.

:kiffin:

The only way Harper is/was overrated if he was never that greatest player in baseball by a mile stretch the way he was thought to be coming out. And even then that's got a lot to do with Trout taking that mantle instead.

To say Harper is bad is stupidly and:kiffin: asinine.

I know they're loaded but I think it's a crappy trade for the Rays. Relievers for a young quality shortstop is pretty underwhelming IMO. I feel like the Red Sox could have easily come up with a better package.

It doesn't sound like Franco will be up just yet, it could be Taylor Walls instead.

Yes. Walleye is much better.

When I moved down here to Tejas, I went everywhere trying to find walleye, people looked at me like I was making shit up! What the fuck?!?!

Trout is the modern version of Mickey Mantle, if Mick actually took care of himself.

Both Trout and Harper haven't played in weeks. The Phillies are tumbling down to the bottom of the division thanks for the absence of Harper.

Yes, it's Trout's fault that the Angels have the worst ERA in the league, and it's Harper's fault the Phillies are 10th in the NL in ERA.

Meanwhile Judge's Yankees got swept by the Tigers.
