His bad game will cost the Phillies. Bot 8 and he had a guy on 2nd and he is out there just doing nothing. Could have made it 2-0 instead of 1-0 and now Braves in business.
It's baseball.
You can literally find multiple games a season where any player on the planet takes an ofer and the team loses.
Your boy Judge took an ofer in a 2-0 loss to Toronto a couple weeks ago, and had two chances to tie the game.
Using a single game to "make" your argument in baseball is about as dumb as it gets.
Seems like for Harper it isn't just one game, it's multiple games. What's his contract again? Are the Phillies getting what they are paying for?
There's multiple games for everyone who plays regularly. Every season.
Please try to keep up.
He's not having a great year, but there might be something tied to the guy taking a 96 mph fastball to his face a little over a month ago.

There's a reason the longest hitting streak of all-time is 56 games. Even the best hitters are going to have games where they don't get a hit. Judge has 21 games this season where he failed to record a hit. That's over 33% of his games. Even in his big 2017 season he had 46 games with 0 hits.

Yes, baseball players pay per game is ridiculously low compared to NBA and NFL players. What other metric can you use to determine someone’s salary? You work 10 tens as hard but get paid less isn’t a legitimate gripe?

I could be wrong but based on TV contracts and annual ticket sales, there is probably a really good argument about mlb and nba. Also just a hunch, but I'd guess the NFL has less money going to their players as a percentage.

Harper will always be a little overrated based on his hype coming up. But youre acting like hes some trash player not worth being paid as a franchise player. Which is flat out wrong.

Yeah Mike Trout, my apologies to Harper for calling him overrated, Trout is far more overrated in comparison. Dude hasn't played for a month and likely wont return for another month. Collect that check.
