How Would You Improve Abysmal NBA Ratings?

I would cut ties with China and focus on building the profile in Germany, India and Japan.

I would consider expansion in cities with a young progressive population and a growing tech economy (Raleigh-Durham, Austin, Nashville, Seattle, San Jose?)

I would shorten the season to 70 games.
 
1. Get my games off of cable.

2. Stop pushing individuals as much and push more teams to show that teams matter more than players. Teams build a longstanding viewer not players.

3. Allow more defense in the game again and try to figure out a way to condense the game again. The nightly 3pt shooting contest is not good or entertaining basketball.

Last resort: 4. Shorten season to make games seem important
 
Give all the players sticks, shrink the ball down to a 3 inch hard piece of plastic, give all the players skates, put them on ice.
