I didn't know Auburn was a stepping stone program?

Might have something to do with Harsin being a self centered jackass

That's the rumor. They didn't get along do he decided he needed a change of scenery.

I'm pretty pumped about it. We haven't made a "big name" coordinator hire since Holgerson so its great to be excited instead of having to Google who he is.

Honestly I wasn’t sold on Mason. He is 100% into the bend don’t break philosophy and will rush 3 guys, have 5 offensive linemen on them and the QB has all day to throw. It wasn’t until the end of the year we started blitzing random corners and linebackers (which was effective) but I think Harsin had a part of that.

He didn’t have enough time to really evaluate him but two things really bothered me:

1. His defense gave up a 21 point lead to Mississippi State.

2. He couldn’t stop South Carolina who basically ran the same play over and over and he never adjusted.

I honestly thought he would be gone after the season but figured they wouldn’t because they had already fired a black coach and it’s bad optics.

He is a good guy and I hope he does well but I’m kinda glad he is gone.

Auburn has their own "stepping down to spend time with my family" CUM-like moment.

:pop2:

hear that their OC who was just named, is already looking to leave..

damn man.. might have been for the best had Harsin been fired for not taking the vaccine

Harsin is running everyone out of town

Dood is going downhill fast. The musical chairs shows what a joke CFB has become.
