& the funny thing about Fail Mary.I've said it before and I'll say it again:
The replacement refs weren't really any worse than the normal NFL refs. They came from college and other leagues so there were some minor issues with stuff like ball placement and occasionally something with the clock. That's understandable. They would correct that over time, probably wouldn't have been any issues after a few weeks. But the number of actual god awful complete dumbass flags and missed calls wasn't any different. The announcers and ESPN were just WAAAAAY more critical of everything the replacement refs did.
Yeah, I know Fail Mary. That's not even top 10 worst calls I've seen in the last decade at this point though.
