But you always have so much talent doe! UT is a trip....I'm not sure anyone understands quite what the problem is. Your mystery underperformance is kinda' cool in a way - like James Dean attitude about this ridiculous pastime.

Look, Alabama has the athletes to win, but I firmly believe Saban can be and often is outcoached despite his advantage in athletes and team cohesion

We have the same problem as Nebraska, USC, Texas, Miami, FSU, etc. None of these programs can find a coach that can worth a piss.

Both teams are a bit disheveled compared to the SECCG. UF with Pitts and Trask would've rolled easily today. Same goes with the December Tide against the Gators today.

That's what makes CFB great though...the unpredictable revolving door.

Remind me about that in 5 years when Saban is still in in the hunt for another NC and Mullen is in his 2nd year of coaching the Jaguars.
 
Good game Gators, just make sure you give Georgia the same game. I definitely didn't think y'all would be able to hang in there with Bama, let alone nearly beat us

I do not understand keeping Golding on staff. Players have come and gone, hell Henry T. came from Tennessee running the same D, and we still struggle with the same shit year in and year out. The one constant is Peter Golding

Yeah, Golding is a complete mystery to me. He is to Bama football what Kathleen Kennedy is to Star Wars. He must have dirt on Saban. I can think of no other reason he remains employed at Alabama.

The big issue with Star Wars is that 7, 8, and 9 probably should have NEVER been made. Return of the Jedi tied up the story very well and made for the perfect ending. Hard to revive franchise after that. Bringing back the Emperor was absolutely the worse idea the franchise could have pulled.

No problem with a sequel trilogy, but the shit they produced was awful. Clearly no cohesive story laid out beforehand. And they didn't use any of Lucas' ideas. The man may not have been a great director, but he knows the universe and the story to tell.
