Nonsense … you wanna make a wager of the field against Oregon and Texas? It’s funny that you say there should only be two when just two days ago, Ohio State would’ve been one of those two and they no longer are. That alone shows that the statement is nonsense.Yeah but ....
There aren't really 12 teams that do deserve to be in it.
This is the year that the two team BCS would have been sufficient.
So two days days ago, the BCS model would’ve said Oregon and Ohio State. That’s all you need to know as to why two is not enough. Because that is not the way it is today just two days later.Oregon and Texas
The AP poll and the coaches poll dropped them to 14th, well behind Alabama and three other schools. Remember that the CFP jumped Alabama in front of Miami after Alabama beat that powerhouse Mercer, while Miami was on a bye week. Each team has lost a game since then, but there’s no reason to think that the committee doesn’t think Alabama‘s body of work is better. They’ve already ranked it that way.I'd be surprised if Miami dropped behind Alabama, which should keep Bama out.
Was that before or after Bama got blown out by an unranked Oklahoma? The AP poll and the coaches poll dropped them to 14th, well behind Alabama and three other schools. Was that before or after Miami lost to Syracuse. Don’t be obtuse. You see where the AP and Coaches have them now. Don’t be stupid. Was that before or after Bama got blown out by an unranked Oklahoma?

Then explain the polls.Miami was ahead most of the game. They are not the same.
Then explain the polls.
I knew it … let’s ignore all evidence contrary to my opinion. You are predictable.Couldn't care less about the polls; they have no bearing on the CFP.
You're ignoring the margin of defeat in the OU game.I knew it … let’s ignore all evidence contrary to my opinion. You are predictable.
But, I am not. I want Bama out. As you know, we don't exactly play well against them. That was a very bad loss for Bama. Then they won the Iron Bowl, while Miami was losing. I wish it had been enough to vanquish them but they are like zombies, they won't die. You're ignoring the margin of defeat in the OU game.
So predictable.

The polls and I are comparing Miami after it lost to an unranked Syracuse to give them their second loss to Bama. Predictably, in your SEC hate, you just want to count losses - Miami has 2, Bama 3, so Miami is ahead of Bama. The two polls don't agree for a simple reason - Miami doesn't have a single win against a ranked team. Their body of work sucks. And that is likely going to be enough to put Bama ahead of them. It's not even like the two polls were close to your line of thinking ... they dropped them to 14th behind ASU and USCjr.
If Bama is ahead of them on Tuesday night, then it's up to Clemson. If they beat SMU, then both teams are in and Bama, USCjr, Miami, and Ole Miss are done.
I wish you realized how dumb that is. The polls are for one thing ... another piece of information. You just don't like them because they go badly against your incorrect conclusion. I am not relying on them ... I am using them as another data point. You just go, "nah" as if that has any credibility. You haven't responded with a single content subjective thought other than just saying no.Your reliance on meaningless polls is your weakness.

No shit, Sherlock. LOL, "the Committee doesn't look at polls." Did I say anywhere they look at polls? No, I used them as a data point, something you have yet to provide - a single piece of data. You are off your game tonight, Sherlock. The committee doesnt look at polls
Try again

Two isn’t enough but 4 except for year has been more than enough. The fact that teams like Alabama, Miami, Ole Miss and South Carolina are campaigning to get in at this point makes a bit ridiculous.Nonsense … you wanna make a wager of the field against Oregon and Texas? Have you guys really had 4 losing seasons in a row?!Two isn’t enough but 4 except for year has been more than enough. The fact that teams like Alabama, Miami, Ole Miss and South Carolina are campaigning to get in at this point makes a bit ridiculous.
Agree. For a lot of fans, it's great because you always want to think your team still has a shot, no matter how slim, of winning a title. But honestly, as well as Carolina has played to end the season, I don't believe they could survive a gauntlet of Notre Dame, Boise State, Oregon, Texas/Georgia. That's what it would take for the #12 team. There MIGHT be a team out there who could do that, and Bama under Saban comes to mind, but Bama under DeBoer? Nah. Ole Miss under Kiffin? Nah.Two isn’t enough but 4 except for year has been more than enough.
