I just ate McDonalds

Hell in a handbasket suddenly makes sense, what with all the fags and all.

Going inside is worse. Stores are timed and measured by how quickly they move the drive thru customers, which means they ignore those who stand at the counter. I also agree the are understaffed, probably a combination of the higher wages they are foced to pay and the low end labor shortage that still exists.

You guys ain't gonna believe this shit! I was horrible, expensive, took 25 mins IN THE DRIVE THRU and now I have diarrhea

Did you have a bad batch of onions as well?

McDonald's business model was built on good quality, cheap fast food. Their model is now, poor quality, horribly expensive, not so fast food. The meat is pre-cooked and just sits in a drawer waiting for somebody to order it. By the time you get it, it's room temp, dry and has condiments oozing out the sides like an infected wound. Today's customers have no idea what McDonald's used to taste like. If they went out of business tomorrow, only the meth heads would miss them.

Probably because there used to be 14 people working at a McDonald’s around the clock, now thanks to that awesome minimum wage shit, 11 of those people don’t have jobs and the place is staffed by 3 people and robots.

Every McDonald’s I’ve been to lately, either in California or Colorado is just full of weird modern basic ikea chairs, the ordering kiosks and one employee running the food out. You have to fucking order salt at the kiosk now because they don’t have the salt and pepper packets next to the soda machines…because there are no soda machines. What a country.

Thanks, liberals.

Corporate decision made by the powers that be. They want a "consistent experience" (probably means they want fewer people eating in the restaurants and more people ordering via drive thrus and takeout apps). Guess it also reduces whatever maintenance costs and reduces power usage are associated with the drink machines out front.

so you saw the e. coli outbreak related to McDonalds and said I'm Loving It?

I think in all seriousness it has affected all fast food chains. I have had similar experiences at pretty much all of them
Not much different than ordering a good burger and fries from a local bar $$$ wise anymore. Why do mcds or Taco Bell anymore. Way better quality. Only downside is you gotta walk in to get it.

Serious Clark, try this out. For me I do one of 3 places for burgers in such. No more mcds or any fast food except a sub.

I actually rarely ever eat at those places anymore. Local pub has great burgers and sech so when I am craving a burger and don't make it myself I go there

Right now there are two places close by the house that use the local butcher for their meat. Some kind of blend the butcher does for them and they are so good. The other place is by work and not sure of where they get their meat from. Burger and fries around 15 bucks.

$15 is about what the local place is charging along with fresh cut fries.

And that what you spend on a meal at mcds. I am ok without a large coke to down it. I am mostly a water guy now, after coffee...

Honestly I don't do restaurants at all anymore unless I am forced to by someone else (and even then I try my best to talk them out of it). A few years ago they all told me that I wasn't welcome inside. I'm not going to forgive that any time soon.
