I just ate McDonalds

I had the big mac, the wife had the QP and we split the chicken.

That joke email hasn't been forwarded to me in a long time, I can't remember what "Split the Chicken" is :noidea::laugh:

A little over ten years ago, friends insisted we stop at McDonald's for breakfast on a road trip.

At that time I had a streak going of only having eaten there once as an adult but against my better judgement I ordered one of the pancake sandwich things.

The pancake part was fridge-cold, the sausage was microwaved to perdition and it was tiny.

As long as I live, I'll never eat at McDonald's or any other fast food restaurant not named Carl's Jr.

went the other night, got a Big Mac, a Quarter Pounder, and tried the Chicken Big Mac.

The Big Mac wasn't anything more than a double cheeseburger with another piece of roll between the meat. Just get a double chee.

Chicken Big Mac wasn't anything special. Skip it.

and yea...came out to nearly $30 for all that.
Working at McDonald's turned me off to almost everything that doesn't use the quarter pound patty on the burger menu. The patties they use for the regular burgers are wafer thin and can fall apart while being cooked. Plus, the Big Mac bun to meat ratio is terrible.

BK Big King for me if I'm getting one of those burgers. Chicken Mac intrigues me, because I did like the McChicken, and I assume they're using that to make the Chicken Mac.

next time we go for fast food, I am going to suggest the BK next door.

the McD's fries weren't really any good either.

Really? No Panda express?

McDonalds is still safer on your colon than Arby's.

How so? Their deli sandwiches are pretty good if you are looking for that. I see they serve burgers now but that's a hard pass
