I think Nick is gonna retire after this season.

ooo, not too far away from Auburn
:L About an hour away from Hell down Highway 280. Saturdays are awful with all the Barn fans clogging up the fucking highways on the way to the game. Cant even go get my groceries for Gameday sometimes. Worlds worst people. And they’ve become even more obnoxious since they discovered they had a basketball team about 5 years ago

He hasn’t had anything to motivate him lately. Doubters like OP are just what might drive him to go get one more. If he wins it next year he’d go out on top and say fuck y’all who wrote my obituary last year.

He’s been slipping some the last couple of years. Things that had never happened before happened.

Lost to an unranked team
Lost to former assistants
Lost to Tennessee

I don’t think he retires, if he was gonna retire, he would have after 2020 IMO

Pffffffffft. Ol' boy Nick aint goin' nowhurrrrrrrr, he's the type of guy that will work until he's 80 because he cant stand being home around his wife

I don’t think he’s going anywhere. He knows the season is done in regards to the playoffs. This season is what it is, a failure and he knows it’s on him for hiring BOB and hopefully knows it by sticking with Golding.

I expect there will be a lot of changes this off-season and this year may be that motivating factor to go get one more before he does actually hang up

All of those were going to happen eventually. Saban wanted stability over ability with his coordinators and look what happened

He thought he could turn Golding into his next Kirby and it just isn’t gonna happen. He stuck with him 2 years too long.

Fact is Kirby has implemented Bama's "Make his ass quit" scheme, version 2.0, quite successfully and shows it still works. Saban adapted tooooo much. We need to go back to the OG philosophy

When did that happen? Both LSU and Tennessee were ranked when they played Alabama.

Yep, Golding wowed him on the white board. Golding sounds like he'd be a great analyst, but he sucks as a DC.

And Sark masked Golding's deficiencies a lot in 2019 and 2020, but 2021 and 2022 have shown his true colors when he has an even bigger idiot running the offense

I think he retools and makes another run. One more Natty and he's done.

I still think he has one more Championship in him.

Recruits don’t seem to think he is going to check it in.
