I want an expanded playoff big time

Utah beats Oregon
UGA beats Bama
Baylor wins B12
Houston beats Cincy
Iowa beats Michigan

Now whos your playoff??

Lets get to 8 or 12... lets get crazy

probably Georgia, bama, ohio st, and notre dame haha. Bama and Clemson being out would be refreshing. I don’t need the chaos and that’s still the only way nd gets in

I don't see how the first two = chaos. Pac is out regardless, and there's a chance both SECCG teams are in regardless.

How about OU wins today and then losses to OSU next week? That should do it

UGA beating Bama isn't chaos - its expected.

The average point spread for the CFP is 21 points. That's with only 4 teams.

Looking forward to that moving up when 5 is playing 12, then 1 is playing the winner, etc.

Compelling football.

1. UGA
2. ND
3. Baylor
4. I guess Iowa?

You want an expanded playoff because there is zero chance your team makes it without.

There aren’t even two deserving teams this year and you dumbasses want 12 teams.

I want an expanded playoff because it makes more games meaningful. I like meaningful games.

And Iowa has been closer to the playoff than Auburn has already so im not sure what they have to do with anything

Can you imagine what the spread would be if Iowa got in at 12 and had to play Georgia? Purdue and Wisconsin held Iowa to 7. If there were a way to hold a team to negative points -- that's what Georgia would do to Iowa.

That isn't meaningful -- That is wasting time and energy so people can line their pockets with cash.

It’s not meaningful games it’s consolation games at best and will makes the regular season less important. 2 losses will be meaningless in the SEC and B1G. Just win your damn games and quite begging for mulligans.

But when i say more meaningful games im speaking to the regular seasln really not the playoff

UGA is going to boat race everyone anyway

But right now the last few regular seaskn weeks feature maybe a game ir 2 a week that matter . Going to 12 adds a lot more import to a lot of those games

If it is that much, I say we make it 64 teams and start inviting some FCS teams to the playoff too. LET'S GOOOOOOOO.
Nah but 12 is good

68 out of 360 in CBB
12 out of 130 in CFB

The reality is most years there already arent even 4 teams who should be in so if thats your bar tgen just go back to 2

But 5 vs 12, 6 vs 11, 7 vs 10 and 8 vs 9 would ( most years ) be wayyyy better games than 1 vs 4 anyway

The difference in spreaf from 1 vs 12 ( as an example ) is negligible from 1 vs 4 anyway

The spread from #4 to #12 would be enormous. The difference between the top 4 teams in the country and the top 12 is enormous. Don't let this year fool you. Until we see parity on a yearly basis, there is no reason to put in 8 teams to be warm up games before the actual elite teams play each other.

Also -- there is a HUGE difference between basketball and football from a physical stand point, so while adding games is what fans would love to see -- I'm not sure how feasible it is for the players. Before long -- you are going to have kids playing 16, 17, 18 game seasons in college.

Hey, I love the energy, but Michigan is going to beat the brakes off of Iowa.

Uga and Michigan are in, barring a complete meltdown by Michigan. The only chance for Bama is if they beat UGA and I don't see that happening, so they are out. Okie st needs to win tonight and beat Baylor and they are in.... then it is up to Cindy and notre dame and you gotta go Cindy since they wok h2h
