I want chaos next week

The reason why Oregon will never get in. They have two of the worst losses of any team within a whisper of the CFP. Name me a loss worse than Stanford for any team you are mentioning as top 4? Name me a loss worse than losing by 31 to Utah?

NO CHANCE.
They have one of the best wins of the college football season. Don’t forget that.

They need the scenario to play out then they have a chance.

They aren’t going to put in a 1 loss G5 team that didn’t even win their conference in ANY YEAR.

I agree ND gets in before Oregon.

Teams struggle, Alabama has struggled recently, Ohio State a short stint of struggle earlier. Teams struggle. Oregon’s not the only one.

Oregon has a shot, they need a lot to happen and it’s unlikely but it’s still a shot.
It isn't just the struggling -- it is the absolutely brutal losses. And no chance ND gets in over Cincy, when Cincy beat them by 10 AT ND.

You're wrong

If you are using a win from week 2, when Tre'veon Henderson wasn't even playing for OSU and Stroud was starting his 2nd game ever as one of the best wins. What do you call what UM just did? They beat them more convincingly and were much more dominant.
So explain how they'd get in over UM? Because they beat a Utah team they just lost to a week ago by 31?

ZERO CHANCE.

They aren’t putting a G5 team that didn’t even win their own conference in the playoff.

Agreed, which is yet another reason why Oregon isn't getting in. Because there is ZERO chance they get in over ND. And there is ZERO chance ND gets in over Cincy.

ohh so now we’re putting a time limit on when wins count?

Spare that BS, they went into the shoe and won. UM while impressive won at home. UM wouldn’t have a conference championship. You can’t discredit it just because you want to.

They got a chance is the scenario plays out.

You agree that they aren’t putting in a G5 team with no conference title yet you think ND is out if Cincy isn’t in? Who the hell are they putting in if the scenario happens? Give me your top 4 in that scenario not BS what if’s.

You can put up ANY scenario you'd like. There is zero chance Oregon gets in. Name me a single team with 2 losses that Oregon has a better resume than? Baylor - no. If Okie State lost - no. If Michigan lost - no. If Alabama lost - no. Hell -- Wake Forest would have a better resume than Oregon if they won the ACC.

Oregon has a better resume then Baylor and Junior. Fuck Junior almost lost to G5 teams. Wake forest is laughable. Who is their best win? NCSt??? GMFB

I already gave you the scenario, Oregon has a shot if it plays out.

They take the year, as a whole, and take the 4 best teams. There isn't a scenario in the world where Oregon will be one of the 4 best teams. None.
Exactly. This right here. Oregon has one of the best wins of the season. They also have one of the worst losses of the season. If Bama and Georgia play like a bunch of football bandits, and one team loses by 6 or 3 or whatever, the other team will have the better win of the season. But the team that loses will have a better loss than Oregon's loss to Stanford. You can't say oh but that was a long time ago. Yeah, the Oregon win over the Buckeyes was even longer ago than that loss to Stanford. Say Georgia loses or Bama loses or Iowa or Michigan loses or whatever, it is about the 4 best teams over the entire season. The conference championship matters but not the be all end all.

What resume are you looking at? Tell me about Oregon's losses and then tell me who has worse losses than Oregon. Does Baylor? Does Okie State? Does Wake Forest?

You continue to hang your hat on a win in week 2 against an OSU team who didn't play their best RB and their QB was starting his 2nd game ever. What other big wins do they have?

Both Junior and Baylor don’t have a win near as good as Oregon. Wake forest again is laughable. You want to give Oregon shit for playing one ranked conference member, the same should be applied to wake.

I hang the hat on the OSU win BECAUSE ITS ONE OF THE BEST WINS OF THE YEAR. You continue to hang your hat on the Stanford and Utah losses while ignoring that great win.

Given the way bama struggled this year should they get blown out they don’t deserve to be in. I don’t care what your eye test says. At some point results on the field should matter, not some beauty pageant.

Okie and Baylor both have wins over Oklahoma. That is the two losses on the year for Oklahoma. Is it as good as OSU? No. But it is very comparable.

What Okie and Baylor don't have is -- a loss by 31 points to anyone and a loss to a really, really, really, really bad Stanford team, a Stanford team who lost by an average of 40 points in their last 4 games this year. As good of a win that OSU was, the Stanford loss is worse and the Utah loss they got absolutely embarrassed. They lost by THIRTY ONE POINTS. No top 4 team in the country will EVER have a loss by 31 points to ANYONE.

I believe Oregon has played Washington, Colorado, Stanford, and Cal all ranked near 100 or below 100.

So if Bama was blown out by Georgia, they are out. But Oregon gets blown out by Utah and they will get in? :pound:

Beating Oklahoma at home isn’t the same as beating Ohio State on the road, not this year. Not really comparable at all.

You are acting like I’m saying with a win Oregon will catapult passed people who are also winning. I’m not even remotely suggesting this. I’m stating if a bunch of people lose, Oregon will pas them should they win. Because Of where they are position wise and adding a conference title to their resume.

Washington gave Oregon all they could handle. Cal was beating Oregon 17-10 in the 4th quarter and it took two late TD's to pull off the win and Stanford, well, as we know Stanford beat Oregon.

Oh I totally agree there. Does this include Oregon winning by 7 over Cal? Is that struggling? Winning by 10 over Washington? Is that a struggle?
