I want to hear the view points of Missouri and Texas A&M

Seems like the SEC hasn't let mizzu do anything .... oh wait..they didn't do anything in the Big12 either

We are gonna make you run to the ACC to join lil bro GT!!!!
I'd say Horns Down, but y'all get all butt hurt about that. Seriously, glad to have you in the conference, prepare thy anus!

I'd be absolutely shocked if Missouri and Arkansas stopped playing the day after Thanksgiving. Just can't see the SEC pulling the plug on that after trying so hard to make it a rivalry, especially since it had gotten interesting when Odom was there.
Hell I didn’t even know that game was supposed to be a thing. I’ve literally never watched it. I watch the Egg Bowl most years but Mizzou vs Ark isn’t on the radar.

Because it's a forced rivalry. Personally speaking I wouldn't care if they moved it off that day but I just think the SEC has pushed too hard to make it work to abandon it when it might finally kinda sorta get interesting.

Like Mizzou, Arkansas has no real true rivalries in the SEC so let’s keep it on the books and you too can play mad at each other.

This is one of the dumbest things. This started after a Texas player got a personal foul for holstering guns vs Tech. Mack went ballistic, pointing out the obvious irony. After that is was all pretty much a penalty. Just like when I watched a Georgia player get a personal foul for doing the gator chomp after scoring. Yes, even the SEC doesn’t like mean people. Teams like OU and A&M should be able to do it. It’s part of the tradition, though it’s funny as hell seeing A&M fans do it while playing LSU. I just laugh my ass off, when southeast directional state does it.

Arkansas will have Texas. They fucking hate Texas. That was one of the ugliest rivalries in CFB. Old Texas fans said they had to fill up their gas tank at the state line, because nobody in Arkansas would give them gas. Restaurants wouldn’t serve them food, if they knew they were Texas fans. I am sure some of that is embellished, but those are the stories

it's ok.. let them think it hurts our feelings.. i'd be more hurt if I were an ou fan.. soon they can't claim it as their own.. SEC SEC SEC

They shouldn't care by now. Texas won't be any better than either of them once they start playing an SEC schedule every season.
Easier to get through an SEC schedule than a b12 schedule. Look at this past year. Look at any year. We’ve been over this a million times.
B12 is the best top to bottom. SEC just has a couple great teams at the top, then overrated trash.

LOL

You gonna pull a @Volbound1700 and laugh at it, then spend the next week admitting to it in several threads? He wasn’t the first or second or even third one to do so.
Nope. I'll just put this here:

SEC > B12
- Way better recruits, year in year out.
- Way more NFL drafted in higher rounds.
- NCs last 22 years - SEC 14 by 5 different schools, B12 2 by two schools, both of which are moving to the, you guessed it, SEC.
- SEC v. B12 matchups - SEC wins easily in regular season and bowls:

So, no, it's not just the top teams with everyone else overrated trash.

Then there was UGA v. TCU - something like 65-7, I think. A blown coverage from a 65-0 NC score. B12 my ass.

Don't bother with that guy... it will be like arguing with a wall.

I acknowledge Big12 had more depth than any other conference but never cited them as the best conference.

My last post did the arguing. I've done my job.

I'd be open to the idea that a round-robin where you play all teams might be harder in a given year where, as an example, the SECE would be down such that we had a really easy run. Hell, next year might be that year because our schedule appears to be pretty easy.

But you have to show me that all your teams are really better. You don't credit for the round robin aspect of the B12 if your teams suck. So let's take a look:

- Our no. 3/4 team, Bama, destroys their conference champ - Kansas State.
- LOL, UGA beats their regular season champ 65-7 in the NCG, the largest margin in the history of CFP, BCS and all bowls. LOL.
- The B12, out of 10 P5 and G5 conferences, has the worst bowl record of all 10 conferences - 2-6 (.250), including 3 losses to the sucky SEC.
- In 2022, the B12 was 2-4 against the sucky SEC.
- The last 12 years, the B12 v. SEC in regular season - 24-33; bowl games - 13-18. Boy that SEC sucks.

For the round-robin argument to work, you have to have 10 good teams. That is simply not true, and hasn't been.

If you had TCU vs the following this past season and HAD to bet $1,000 straight up no line who are you taking:

Alabama
Georgia
Tennessee
LSU

Personally, I don't see TCU beating any of them and the way South Carolina was playing at the end of the year I don't think they beat them either. Michigan played like straight-up trash against TCU and threw that game away.

After TCU you have a 10-4 Kansas State that got beat by 25 points by Alabama. The top two teams in the Big 12 got run off the field by the top two SEC teams. They had zero more depth than the SEC period and the proof is on the field.

Their 3rd best team got beat by Washington in a bowl game. The only saving grace was Texas Tech took it to Ole Miss but that team was on life support by the time they got to the bowl game. Its a stupid argument.

Sure SEC top was strong but the SEC at the bottom had some bad teams. To counter, do you see the following Teams going better than 2-6 in the Big12:

Florida, Kentucky, Vandy, Auburn (sorry man), Miss State, Missouri, Arkansas, or Texas A&M

I mean you can't talk about the SEC's top and not acknowledge the bottom.

Regarding the South Carolina comment, they lost to Notre Dame so...

Yes I see most of those teams getting at least 3 wins.

Auburn came damn close and should have beaten LSU, aTm and Miss State last year. I feel confident they win 3 games. KY was pretty decent until injuries started to get them. Missouri actually probably have Georgia their toughest game of the year. The only one I wouldn’t put money on is Vandy.

West:

LSU
Texas
OU
Arkansas
Texas A&M
Missouri
Ole Miss
Mississippi State

East:

Alabama
Auburn
Georgia
Florida
UT
UK
Vandy
Scar

Let’s go.
UGH, I hate that. I want Bama, UGA, and/or Auburn every year. I want FL and Scar every other year at most.
